arita's Punarnava Trimarma Chikitsalaya and Research Centre is a newly established fullfledged, fully equipped specially designed institute located in Nanded for the treatment of Trimarma as mentioned in Ayurved for the treatment of diseases of 3 most important vital organs, viz. Kidney, Brain and Heart.It is famous for centre of treatment for End Stage Renal Disease patients (CKD stage 5) on dialysis or advised dialysis. Patients on dialysis are treated successfully and are maintained without dialysis for years together.
Apart from that Renal stones,
Pyelonephritis, IgA nephropathy, Cystitis, Repeated episodes of Urinary Tract Infections are
effectively treated here. Urethral Stricture undergone repeated surgery/dilatations are
conservatively and successfully treated by Ayurvedic line of treatment.
The hospital is 6 bedded with Panchkarma facilities necessary to treat most of the challenging
cases where modern treatment is not promising and patients are treated with effective line of
treatment at affordable cost to most of the people. But due to Corona pandemic we have not
yet resumed our indoor services. Poor patients lying below poverty line requiring prompt care
are also treated here with nominal fees.
It is pointed out here that Raktabasti is extremely rarely practised in Ayurved. Dr. Sarita Gaikwad has conducted special research on Raktabasti and advocated that Raktabasti is superior to Blood transfusion and it helps to reduce the serum Creatinine level in ESRD patients. It is pleased to inform you, that Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi, the highest & apex body of Indian Medicine of India circulated the clinical research trial conducted by Dr. Sarita Gaikwad to all the faculties of Indian system of Medicine viz. Ayurved, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy to make them aware that such type of clinical research was expected from them.
It is again happily informed to the readers that All India Institute of Ayurveda, New Delhi had specially invited Dr. Sarita Gaikwad to prepare National protocol on Chronic Kidney Diseases from 14-18 March 2017 and she made substantial contribution in the final draft and that has been published couple of years back. Vaidya Katocha Hon'ble Secretary, AYUSH department, Govt. of India visited Ayurved research Department, Sassoon Hospital (Teaching hospital of B.J. Medical College), Pune on 2.7.2018 and highly appreciated Dr. Sarita Gaikwad's clinical and research work. More than 26 research papers have been published in International/ National journals to the credit of Dr. Sarita Gaikwad.

Maj. Dr. Pradip Gaikwad, M.B.B.S., M.D. (PSM), D.P.H. (All India Institute of Hygiene & Public Health, Calcutta), D.I.H., P.G.D.H.H.M. (I.G.N.O.U., New Delhi), Retd. Joint Director of Health Services (Leprosy & T.B.), Govt. of Maharashtra, is closely associated with the institute, giving inputs to the research and clinical activities of the institute. This institute is named after Sarita's Ayurvedic Research Institute & Training Academy (S.A.R.I.T.A), which will be starting various clinical and practical oriented small courses for Ayurved graduates and Post graduates in due course of time.
Due to present Corona pandemic arrangements for hand washing and sanitization have
been made for the patients. Pulse-oxymeter is used to screen the patients and thermal
temperature is also recorded. Patients are examined as per prior appointment, strictly
followed so that at a given time there may not be overcrowding. Sitting arrangement with
adequate physical distancing has been ensured. All patients are required to observe the
rules of physical distancing and wearing mask strictly.
